RSC Cuba CO Resources
These resources are used by the United States Interest Section in Havana, Cuba, to give U.S.-bound refugees the opportunity to learn more about resettlement in the United States:
Welcome to the United States: A Guidebook for Refugees: Information about fundamental aspects of resettlement and life in the United States. A Spanish-language copy of this guidebook is given to all departing refugee cases.
Welcome to the United States: Refugee Guide to Resettlement Orientation, with Welcome Video Viewing Worksheets to help viewers identify and consider the key messages as they watch the video
Four large posters regarding resettlement in the United States are available to refugees awaiting appointments in Havana. These address the resettlement process, housing, employment, community services and transportation, and rights and responsibilities. Available in English as well as in Spanish, the posters use multiple images and simple text to convey key messages of orientation.
