Partners and Other Resources

The Cultural Orientation Resource Center works with a variety of partners in order to strengthen orientation delivery and ease refugee adjustment to life in the United States. Partners with whom the COR Center works particularly closely include:

  • Federal government agencies and bureaus such as
    • U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (the COR Center's primary funder)
    • Office of Refugee Resettlement, within the Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families
  • Overseas Resettlement Support Centers (funded by PRM to provide pre-departure cultural orientation to refugees)
  • National refugee resettlement agencies and their resettlement agency affiliates in localities throughout the United States
  • Training and technical assistance providers

See the sidebar to the left to learn about and access these and other partners in refugee resettlement and orientation.
