Partners and Other Resources
The Cultural Orientation Resource Center works with a variety of partners in order to strengthen orientation delivery and ease refugee adjustment to life in the United States. Partners with whom the COR Center works particularly closely include:
- Federal government agencies and bureaus such as
- U.S. Department of State, Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration (the COR Center's primary funder)
- Office of Refugee Resettlement, within the Department of Health and Human Services' Administration for Children and Families
- Overseas Resettlement Support Centers (funded by PRM to provide pre-departure cultural orientation to refugees)
- National refugee resettlement agencies and their resettlement agency affiliates in localities throughout the United States
- Training and technical assistance providers
See the sidebar to the left to learn about and access these and other partners in refugee resettlement and orientation.
